Memorial Day 2014 (guest writer: Beth Littlejohn)

Update:  Mother is improving again. She is talking better and beginning to ask for food. Thank you for your prayers. They are being answered. Thank you to my dear sister who came late last night to take care of Daddy. he has been worried sick and I am sure that Donna’s presence with him will be a comfort. As Mother progresses he will be able to rest more.  20130409_152212-007

Memorial Day is a time when we honor those who have served our country in military service and have paid the ultimate price for our freedom. Please take a moment of your day to remember those that through the years left hearth and home to defend the cause of freedom – giving us an opportunity to enjoy time with friends and family, in relative peace and security. I pay honor to those who fought and died to give me life in the grandest country of all!  Memorial-Day 2

Being patriotic and honoring servicemen and servicewomen is a part of country living which we must continue to instill in our children. Please pass on this part of country living.
