A Visit with Mother
Guest writer: Beth Littlejohn
I have been forbidden to talk about health. So I will risk getting fussed at and say that the patient is getting better every day.
Today, Tuesday, I am sitting with Mother and Daddy getting
ready to listen to a singing at the rehab facility. The group is called the Mountain Valley Singers (I think). If is am wrong please forgive me. Daddy’s cousin, Emily, plays for the group and many of their friends from the area sing. I am excited. I love choral music.
Later this evening I will be trading with Donna and going to work for the next three days. I will miss being here but I know Mark and my students will be glad to see me. My substitute has been wonderful. She is all business and does not play.
Tomorrow I will write about the trip I took through Mother’s front yard. I found many beautiful “bloomers”. Please keep reading. This blog is approaching its one year anniversary and I would love to see it reach an average of 1000 hits per day. Right now the blog is well over 1000 per day but we must make up for those early days when we were below, some times well below! Pass the address on for us, post it on on Facebook, or send a Tweet. All readers are appreciated: all comments are read.

The Mountain Valley singers are just great. Heard their spring concert last Sunday at First UMC in
Albertville. Several members of our church, St Paul UMC in Boaz participate. And I love Emily’s playing and so enjoy watching the director. She is fabulous!!
Happy you are improving, Billie.
