Yep. John Crumly has always been on the move and he learned early or to just jump up an get what he wanted it it wasn’t on the table. Mother told of one time she had a friend there to eat and after dinner her friend said to her, “Billie, you don’t tend to John’s need very much, do you?” I can just imagine that mother said something like, “Well, John knows he can be up and get whatever just as easy as I can and he will have it done twice as quick!” You see, my mother believed in equal opportunity long before it was put into law, she had put it into practice. Dad has always been somewhat of a wiggle worm and he just had to be getting up and down and still does at 90 years old. Although now I do find him moving to find something she has lost. She often said that in the later years they were always looking for something that had been lost. My, my, I too find myself searching for more things that I have misplaced more than I once did. Guess this is just another part of country living, even in the city!
