I prefer just butter and eggs which cause it to hold together and then add the Brown sugar and pecan topping. I love the crunch. My sweetie eats most everything but he will not have anything to do with sweet potato casserole. He will eat a baked sweet potato with butter though. I cannot quite understand his little pickyness but such is life.
