Elaine, You are so kind to comment. I always felt that Mother was very free to share and let people look at her things and her accomplishments. She said that we only survive by the things that we leave behind. She warned us that we should be creating things to leave behind so we would be remembered. In her later days she wanted more grandchildren to come around. Her only granddaughter died at the age of 28 and the great-grandchildren were 3 girls who were all adopted into separate families. After she got sick she said if she had to do it over again she would have had a dozen children so there would be enough to come around. Funny how things change for all of us. Again, thank you for your kindness.

She showed us so many of her quilts. I made many pictures of them and lots of things in the house and outside. I cherish those pictures and the good time we always had when We visited.
