My husband fell and broke his right him a week and a half ago. He is now in rehab and making progress. As one gets older the progress of healing is much slower. Thank you Donna. That was a 10 hour work session yesterday getting this just like I THOUGHT I liked it. Already see some things I would change. LOL It was all a fun FUN distraction. I try to check on Mr. John some. Between my foot and helping mother with things and as you very well know, doctor trips for one or the other just about every other day now. One thing about people that are not able or just don’t get out much in the winter time is, when they do get out on days like today with the wind, it is twice as bad. Mr. John is never out of my thoughts and heart and you and Brad, Beth and her husband. God bless you and Brad.

You have such a loving heart and wonderful eye. That you for all you do and have done over the years. Keep check on Mr. John. He would enjoy a little company just to watch TV with him as this dark winter sets in. And for Friendship cake, would you believe Mr. John and daughter Donna got the “brew” for the cake started on Saturday. Now I will need to remind him to stir it once a day with a wooden spoon. We will have to post her recipe for it. I just have make it for the wonderful Alabama cousin who moved to NYC and was so wonderful to keep check on Mother when she was ill until her passing. He is still good about checking on Mr. John and too on Brad Harvey. He will tell me that is standard procedure for the happening. Just Saturday, he in his quiet doctor voice said “He has turned the corner now.” This has been a very long trip for me since April 29, 2014 when Billie Crumly elective hip replacement surgery occurred. So many things I would have done differently now. I think the hip surgeon did a great job with his part. From then on, I have a little difficulty and I was just not alert or astute enough to catch all the little signs.
