Brings back old times to me that I’d forgotten about. Thanks for your call. Tell John that my Daddy was Herman Langston & my brother was Guy Langston that worked in the pool hall for Cub. He may remember them. When I was 8 yr. old we moved from the house in east end to behind the brick house that belonged to George Jones into his old house that was behind the new house. Daddy worked for Cecil Elrod in his feed mill & for the road commissioner who was Bubby Hearn’s Daddy but I can’t remember his name, his wife was Delmer. Ask John if he remembers the old bank that had been tore down that was next door to the house we talked about that was next to Jim’s little mattress house. Our house sat between the two. We used to play in the old vault of the bank & pretend it was a jail. It was about all that was left standing of the old bank building. My Mama worked in the school lunch room.
