Aunt Bill travels

Years ago we had a family what lived down the road and they wuz tenant farmers — moved every year or two.  They had a house full of young’uns —  Y, they’d have one in the spring and hit’d be fall before they’d have another ‘un.  They now live over in the forks of the creek and I heer’d she had been in the hospital.  Knowing how many little kids they wuz and how pore they wuz, I know’d I just I had to visit and take some vittles.  I ain’t see’d her in a while and I’m glad I went — she looks bad and told me she hadn’t been well in a while.  She said she had a hystorectum at the hospital and now she has sump’in wrong with her bowels — said it was tic-a-litis.  I don’t know what in the world that is.  Folks shore do have a time in this world.  I aim to keep in touch with this family  — fer they need our help.
