Happy First Birthday to This Blog
Guest writer: Beth Littlejohn
Today is a happy day in many ways. All Mother has talked about recently is that the blog is 1 year old today. She still follows how many readers are coming and I want to thank you, faithful reader, for making this blog a success! I am certain that she will soon be back, telling tales, old and new, of life in the country.
I am also sad that I am the writer of this celebration. Mother is taking improvement in baby steps. Everyday we get to decrease one thing or another. Physical therapy has been a couple of time. The second time the therapists came she said, “I want the cute one!” She was adamant.
Another positive to this illness has been some old friendships have been re-established. Forgiveness and moving on are a part of life. If you have one that needs you apology or your forgiveness.-get on with it! People need people. Don’t waste the time you have to share with friends and family because of some small issue. Seek them out and make things right as you can.
Mother has had some special company from New York Cty this weekend. Dr. Sam Lang, one of Mother’s nephews has come to visit. I wish you could have seen how her eyes sparkled when she saw Sam, Paula and Alexandra. Daddy was happy to see them as well; Donna and I were very happy too.
Celebrating milestones-a part of country living!
Congratulations on your blog’s 1 year birthday !!
Happy Birthday to this blog. I am a late comer but have enjoyed reading this blog. I live in Albertville. I did not know what had happened that I was not getting this blog. I hope for fast, speedy recovery. Thank you to the guest writer.
Yes, Happy Birthday!! And AMEN to the reminder, Beth. Time does not stand still.
