Update on Aunt Bill

Guest writer:  Beth Littlejohn

It is early Saturday morning and as I prepare to go to the Windy Knoll I think you faithful readers need an update.

Yesterday Mother was released from the hospital. I count that as grand news!  Her surgery went well and the healing process has so far gone well. But she had planned to go home directly from the hospital. That was not to be. She moved to the Rehab Select Center for Rehehabilitation in Albertville.

Donna and Daddy were there to greet her as she arrive via ambulance. The nurses were afraid that she was not yet strong enough to ride in a car to her temporary abode. Her room number is 161 and I am sure that she would appreciate a card or a note from you, her readers.

I will take my sister’s place today; I have already been informed that there is WiFi there and I am to take the new laptop so that Aunt Bill can get back to one of her favorite past times-sharing life with you.  I hope I can cope with Windows 8. I have Windows 7 at home and at school so my knowledge of the new operating system is very limited. We will try! But I will also have my own laptop so she will be back soon.

Your continued thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated, not only for Mother but for the family in general.

Family health issues and banding together – it is all a part of country living.
