Aunt Bill Rambles –Non Edible Recipes

With Spring here hit’s about time to start thanking about spring cleanin’ and we’ve all got some that needs to be done.

We used to put the quilts, mattresses and all that out in the yard to sun, but folks don’t do that no more.  All that shore did smell good when you brung hit in and packed it away. I allays put some southern wood in with my quilts — hits supposed to keep bugs away.  I don’t know how folks pack thier’n away today.  I shore do hope they don’t keep ’em in plastic bags — them quilts need to breathe and don’t put ’em on the wood shelf neither.  Put a old sheet or sompin under ’em.  I wonder if women even sun and air quilts today.

I ain’t got no carpet in my house — jest wood floors, but I had this here recipe in my collection and thought you might lack to have it.  Then I run across all these others.  If you don’t need ’em now — you might lack to keep ’em on hand jest in case.
