Things I’ve Learned Along the Way

 

About the hatching of eggs:

Eggs of a canary hatch in 14 days
a hen in 21 days”
ducks and geese 28 days
Mallard 35 days
parrots and ostriches 42 days
potato bug 7 days
It all was in God’s plan as these numbers are divisible by seven

Each watermelon has an even number of stripes on the rind
An orange has an even number of segments
An ear of corn has an even number of rows
A stalk of wheat has an even number of grains

A stalk of bananas has an even number of bananas on its lowest row and then each row decreases by one — thus an even number row and an odd number row.

In living life, as in playing cards one must play a bad hand well. In other words, if life gives you lemons — make lemonade.

The hardest person to love is the person who needs love the most.

I can pray for someone when I don’t have the ability to help in some other way.

Facts can be ignored, but it won’t change them.

Birds of a feather flock together.

Water finds its own level.
